What Tube Sizes Does Deeplink Offer for Bending and Cutting?
Deeplink offers tube bending and laser tube cutting services via the Deeplink Instant Quoting Engine®. Simply upload a tube design to start your quote and receive pricing and manufacturability feedback immediately.
Tube Bending
Tube bending services provided by Deeplink are available for round tubes. The information below outlines a comprehensive list of available alloys and standard sizes. Files uploaded with dimensions close to the standard sizes listed below will be fabricated using those standard sizes. These quick Design for Manufacturing (DFM) tips will ensure your project quotes quickly and is manufactured smoothly:
- Minimum bendable tube outer diameter: 0.250"
- Maximum bendable tube outer diameter: 20.000"
- Minimum bendable tube wall thickness: 0.035"
- Maximum bendable tube wall thickness: 0.200"
- A single workpiece can accommodate multiple tube bends. However, a consistent center line radius (CLR) across all bends is recommended.
- We recommend a bend radius-to-tube diameter ratio of 2:1 to 5:1, with a maximum center line radius (CLR) not exceeding 6".
- For tubes with an outer diameter under 1 inch, the straight distance between bends should be at least 2 times the outer diameter. For larger diameters: 3 times the outer diameter for tubes 1–2 inches, and 4 times the outer diameter for tubes over 2 inches.
- Normal-to-surface cutting is assumed for all cut features and end conditions.
Laser Tube Cutting
Deeplink offers laser tube cutting services for an even broader range of round, square, and rectangular tube sizes. The information below outlines the available sizes for tube cutting by profile and alloy. Deeplink can cut tubes across a wide spectrum of standard dimensions:
- Minimum round outer diameter: 0.550"
- Maximum round outer diameter: 6.100"
- Minimum square or rectangular dimension: 0.550"
- Maximum square or rectangular dimension: 6.100"
- Minimum wall thickness: 0.040"
- Maximum wall thickness: 0.550"
